The diaphragm (your main breathing muscle) needs to be warmed up just like a bicep would before exercise. In this movement based activity, you will warm up the body, muscles, and increase circulation.
In this video Azriel will explain what you can expect to experience during this breath based practice. You will learn the physical, mental & emotional components, as well as how to support yourself after the practice. She will then explain and demonstrate how to properly do the technique.

A Southern California native, deeply passionate about holistic wellness, empowerment, education, and transformation. My academic journey began at California State University, Long Beach, where I earned a Bachelor’s in Environmental Science and Policy with the ambition of ‘saving the planet.’ Along the way, my diverse professional experiences in hospitality, education, and natural science cultivated a love for service, ultimately guiding me to my true calling—healing through breathwork, movement, and holistic health practices. In this work, I’ve realized that I’m still helping to ‘save the planet,’ but now in a deeply intimate and personal way, one individual at a time.
Growing up, I was deeply inspired by the resilience of the immigrant women who raised me—my Cuban mother and grandmother. Their strength instilled in me profound gratitude for the life I have and the power that radiates from within each of us. This now fuels my mission to help others take ownership of their health, and live vibrant, empowered lives.
My personal healing journey began with yoga as a movement practice. But it was through studying yoga’s philosophy—a way of living deeply connected to oneself and the world—that my evolution truly began, awakening me to my purpose and guiding me toward a path of healing and empowerment. One of the most profound changes I made during this time was being sober from alcohol for 4 years. It allowed me to reflect, feel, and heal deep wounds and traumas passed onto me from generations before. This awakening led me to pursue certifications as a 200-hour Yoga Teacher, Breathwork Coach, and Reiki Practitioner.
Today, I work with a diverse range of clients, including athletes, high-performing professionals, corporate teams, adolescents, and women seeking greater alignment with their bodies and inner wisdom. I blend science and spirituality to guide individuals in overcoming stress, breaking free from self-limiting beliefs, and cultivating balance across all areas of life. Whether it’s helping a professional manage stress, an athlete optimize performance, or a corporate team foster resilience and connection, I tailor my approach to meet each client’s unique needs.
